for Theophilus?

Luke, a physician, is also known as the author of two  books in the New Testament–Luke and Acts. Both were written and dedicated to a man named Theophilus. The name translates into “lover of God” or “loved by God.”

Yeah, this blog is definitely creative outlet for myself, but I also write it for you, the reader. If you’re not already a lover of God like many of my friends, I hope that sooner than later, you will understand that you are loved by God.

Oh and I forgot to mention: Theophilus can also be translated into “friend of God.” Sometimes I’m so overwhelmed by his unfathomable holiness that I often forget to remind myself that man, he doesn’t just love me like a helpless child, but he calls me his friend.

Sometimes I wish I knew how to portray my God in all of his beauty, majesty, and might, but sometimes, it’s just the small, funny things that really help me enjoy Him the most.

Anyways, here begins a new era of blogging. It’s for You, and its for you, Theophilus.
